PDF FY26 AE Compensation Plan 3

Renewals are paid under a separate plan. Account Executives earn 8% of first-year ARR on closed-won new business. Once quarterly bookings exceed quota, the rate for the rest of the quarter rises to 12%. Attainment is measured on first-year ARR credited to the rep in that quarter.

A commission is someone's paycheck

It should be right, and the person reading it should be able to see why.

Payouts reps believe

Every line on a statement shows the deal, the rate, and the plan rule behind it. Reps stop rebuilding the math in their own spreadsheet.

Plan changes without the rework

A mid-year amendment becomes a new plan version. Months you already paid keep the rules they were paid under.

Time back at month-end

Commissions land in the busiest days of close. Upload the month's deals and the statements are ready for your review.

Fair questions

What finance and RevOps teams ask before they trust us with commissions.

How do we know the numbers are right?

Every payout traces to the deal, the credit, the plan rule, and the math that produces it. Each calculation records the plan version and the files it used, and a finalized month stays locked. A correction shows up as a new line next to the original, never as an edit.

Our spreadsheet works fine

Often it does, until the person who built it is out, the plan changes mid-quarter, or a rep asks where a number came from. Keep running it alongside ours until the numbers match.

We could build this ourselves with AI

AI can draft a calculation quickly. Commissions need the same answer every time, a record of why, and a history that survives plan changes and whoever built it. We handle all of that from the first month.

Tools are too rigid for our plan

We start from the plan you already wrote, not a template. Tiered rates, accelerators, split credit, and caps are covered, and so are the one-offs: a manual adjustment, a special deal, an exception for one rep. Each change records who made it and why, so it shows up on the statement instead of in a side spreadsheet.

Setup takes longer than the spreadsheet did

Setup takes hours, not weeks or months. Upload the plan, we build the rules from it, and you check them once. After that, every month is a sales file in and statements out.

This is sensitive payroll data

It is. Each company's data is walled off by row-level security in the database, every connection is encrypted, and rep names are optional. Ask, and we'll walk you through how it works.

I run commissions on top of everything else

That's who we built this for. The monthly work is a file upload and a review, so commissions stop eating the busiest days of close.

Built by people who handle money data for a living

We've spent our careers building data, security, and fintech software, where every number has to reconcile. Sales compensation experts advise us on every part of the product.
